Answer
May Allah reward you for seeking beneficial knowledge. As one of
the salaf said, one who is shy, or who is arrogant, will not learn
religious knowledge.
1. If there was no
actual penetrative intercourse, and no ejaculation / orgasm, then ghusl
(bath) is not required. If only one of the couple experienced orgasm /
ejaculation, then that individual is required to perform ghusl. If
there was penetrative intercourse, then both man and woman must perform
ghusl, even if there was no ejaculation nor orgasm.
2.
According to the Hanafi school, both maniyy (semen) and madhy (sexual
fluid emitted prior to ejaculation) are considered ritually impure. As
such, it is required to wash any parts of the body soiled by them.
Similarly, it is required to remove traces of the fluids from one's
clothes (by washing) before praying in them. The only exception is for
dried semen, which can be scraped off instead of washing, as is
reported by one of the Mothers of the Believers.
