Question

I am born in a Hindu family. But I've never felt peace as a Hindu. Because of friends of mine I've learned a few things about the Islam. Time went on and I've had dreams about people singing in my dreams Allah hu, Allah hu, and asking me questions about the Islam, which I had no answer to. So I tried to do some research. But now it's like a fire burning within me, and I want to know everything. Every time when I think about Allah (swt) I know I want to serve him. I don't know what I should do now. Can you please help me out?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Dear Questioner,

I pray this message finds you well.

If you're finding yourself drawn to Islam, I suggest you try to get in touch with some local Muslims. You might want to go to the local masjid (mosque) and inquire about classes. Alternatively, you might want to see if there is a local Muslim Students Organization through a college or university.

I would also suggest purchasing a copy of the Qur'an and some introductory materials on Islam. Reputable vendors include OnlineIslamicstore.com and SunniPath Bookstore.

SunniPath also offers classes to new Muslims and people interested in Islam. These classes are a convenient and secure way to learn about this beautiful way of life.

May Allah Most High guide you to His way and facilitate your journey.
