Question

Just wanted to find out on behalf of my aunt if it is permissible to put a ''cap'' on your tooth, I think it's like some sort of covering. I'm not sure it might be permanent, its not for beauty reasons but its because her teeth are weak I think.

Answer

Walaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,

Both tooth fillings and caps are permitted when there is a need or benefit.

Please use the search engine at www.SunniPath.com for fillings for related answers.

And Allah alone gives success.

Wassalam,

Faraz Rabbani
