Question

Is it wrong to have more love for madinah than for makkah? likewise for Masjid an Nabawi and The Kabaa?

Answer

Walaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,

There is no harm in either matter, as long as it doesn't result in disrespect of the other place.

Qadi Iyad actually relates consensus (ijma`) that the grave of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) is superior to the Kaaba and even the Throne.

And Allah alone gives success.
