Salam, there is a brother i know who has had alot of ups and downs with his parents and has wronged them, his father has passed away and his mother is still not happy with him. How could he make it up to them and allah (swt)

The brother should start by begging Allah's forgiveness for wronging his parents. He should make tawba, or sincere repentance by:
1. Ceasing all bad behavior towards his surviving parent;
2. feeling remorse for having wronged his parents; and
3. resolving to never repeat this behavior.
He should make dua for his father's soul and ask Allah to make his father's grave wide and comfortable. He should ask Allah Most High to grant his father Jannah.
He can recite Qur'an on his father's behalf.
He should take all necessary steps towards resolving the situation with his mother by being loving, respectful, and considerate. This also includes looking out for his mother's health and providing her with financial support.
