Supplication for having children

A family member has been trying for a child for many years. Medical tests haven’t come up for any reason why the couple has been unsuccessful. Are there any wird / dua's you can advise for the couple? In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful, In order to be blessed with pious children, one should recite the following supplication abundantly, whenever possible: Transliteration: Rabbi la tazar ni fardan wa anta khayrul warithin Translation: “O my Lord! Leave me not without offspring, though you are the best of inheritors.” (Surah al-Anbiya, 89) Another supplication (dua) that may be useful is: Transliteration: “Rabbi hab li min ladunka dhurriyyatan tayyibah innaka sami’ul dua” Translation: “O my Lord! Grant unto me from You a progeny that is pure: for You are He that hears prayer! And Allah knows best Muhammad ibn Adam al-Kawthari |
