Question

As-salam alay-kum I have been advised to email sunni path. I have met a very good brother that I wish to marry, I have tried to introduce him to my family and they have rejected him on the basis that he is Deaf and from another part of Pakistan. He is a very good brother with great faith in Islam, and I do not believe the above stated reasons are good enough for the rejection. He has made many efforts to establish contact with my sister, but she has been unfair and unfortunately unkind... may Allah(SWT) guide us all inshAllah. We are sure we want to marry each other, I have done istikhara before and found good feelings in the following day. We know it won't be easy to convince my family, but we are determined to get our marriage agreed. His family have agreed but my family is harder to convince. We are dealing with this the best way possible, but we are afraid that while arranging and sorting things out our marriage is being delayed and we are slowing moving into a state of haraam. We feel great guilt and shame and fear of what will happen if we continue this way. We are fearing what will happen for our souls, and we need some help. We have heard that people have got a nikah in such situations, and when everyone approves they have renewed their vows in public. Keeping our intention to inshAllah make this public. Can we perform this nikah twice? I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards ?
