If he is adamant and persistent in you putting on creams and whatnot, it will be your choice. If you choose not to, you can always tell him that you do not want to deceive him by putting on powder and creams and everything else.
You want to look natural. Because it could so happen that by putting make up on, you will look much better but that would not be how you look normally. So to stay away from deception, you could choose to not put on makeup. Also, I would advise you to cut down on your internet conversations with him and save your conversations till you both meet.
