Is it permissible for a wife to perform oral sex on her husband (with him wearing an oral sex condom, to prevent fluid exchange) if intercourse brings her extreme discomfort because of a physical ailment?Answer
Assalamu alaikum,
This matter is differed upon. Some allowed it, others did not.
It is mentioned in al-Fatawa al-Hindiyya [aka Fatawa Alamgiriyya]: (5: 372)
It is stated in al-Nawazil: If a man inserts his penis in his wife’s mouth, it has been said that it is disliked, and others said that it is not – from al-Dhakhira.
The condition for it not to be disliked, according to those who allowed it, would be that there be no sexual fluids entering the spouse’s mouth.
Normally, this is not the case. Because of this and because of it generally being considered against the proper conduct of a Muslim, most scholars have held this practice to be disliked.
