Question

Is it better to pray the midmorning prayer at the masjid or in the home?

Answer

It is better to perform the midmorning prayer in the masjid than in the home, as al-Badr al-Zarkashi said and confirmed by the late scholars of the school".

Shaykh al-Islam Zakariyya said in his commentary on the Rawd, when mentioning which supererogatory prayers are recommended to be prayed in the masjid, "Al-Zarkashi said, including the midmorning prayer, because of the hadith as related by Abu Dawud."
