Question

i am going through a phase in which i feel my imaan is very low, what can i do about this?

Answer

n the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

With prayers and salutations upon the Best of Creation, Allah bless him and give him peace.

Asalaamu 'Alaikum wa Rahmatu Llahi wa Barakatuhu

The fastest and most effective way to increase one's iman (faith) is through sending blessings upon the Messenger of Allah, Allah bless him and give him peace, as our teachers have taught us.

This is the traditional cure for the things which make us feel low in faith, such as confusion, depression, alienation, misguidance, and countless other mental and emotional states.

Read plentiful blessings on his most merciful soul, Allah bless him and give him peace, with affection and gratitude. The Prayer of Ibrahim (Salat Al-Ibrahima) is more than sufficient (being the same blessing that you read in the last sitting of the prayer).

You may also choose make it a daily discipline to read part of the Prophetic Biography and/or part of the book Ash-Shifa of Qadi Iyad. Check out a link to this book here:

And Allah Knows Best.
